I don’t know why but I’ve been reading about random rappers’ lives for the last half an hour. They are a ridiculous people.
I took a soother, even though I didn’t need one. I was just hungry I guess. It’s really ironic, cos since I took it, I keep having coughing fits.
When I first started wearing the hijab almost three years ago, this guy who was a close friend of mine started wearing a kufi everywhere to show his support for the women who struggled to cover up. His state of mind was, if women have to struggle and show the world that they are Muslims, so should men.

I was planning to spend the whole day in the library. I got there, had a coughing fit, felt nauseous, coughed some more, felt like I was gonna faint, and left.
I have an exam on Saturday. This is not good.
Apparently my dad used to be like Will Smith! Yano, before the nervous breakdown and everything. But imagine having a dad like Will Smith though.
I slept for two hours and for reasons unbeknown to me I’ve been unable to get to sleep for the last three or four hours. So I read a bit, pondered over the meaning of life, and now I’ve been chillin’ on Tumblr. I looked up iPods cos I thought the good ones would only be £50. I don’t know why I was stupid enough to think that. Only the shuffles are under £50 and … who wants a shuffle though? I wanna be able to choose what I listen to innit.
And apart from that I keep coughing all over the place. Like, when I was on the train before, I had this random coughing fit and this woman cautiously turned her bag of food away from me. But my sore throat’s gone away and I can speak again, which is something.
So in the last week and a bit, I’ve gone from a headache, to a stomach ache, to a headache, to an aching mouth, to a headache, to aching skin, to feeling nauseous, to an earache, to a sore throat, to sneezing fits, to a fever, to a cough. It’s been quite a roller coaster.
Also my first exam’s on Saturday and I’ve done no revision in the last three days, which is quite bad.
